Boox note air 2 vs supernote a5x.
They sell the Air 1, 2 and now 2 Plus. I have the Air 1 and love it and literally use it everyday. The 2 is a nice spec bump but people complained about the smaller battery compared to the Note. They fixed that with the 2 Plus by putting in a larger battery and the only physical change is a new color way and slightly heavier.

It makes it much lighter and much more durable than the Note Air, which I value over a thinner, more premium feel (glass an aluminium are heavy and easily breakable). Both have their pros and cons. From my point of view, the SN has a better writting feel, better battery, better software support, better UI and UX and better hardware quality. On the other hand, Boox is running Android which means it should be more open and it has 128gb of expandable storage.

I am undecided between a Supernote A5 X and a Boox Note Air 2: I mainly need a tablet to write notes during conferences, take notes on pdfs of scientific papers and synchronize them with program accessible via computer.
